About the data
Everything here is the City’s own open data: NYC Open Data, City Planning’s map layers and the MTA’s stations, copied here and refreshed weekly, or monthly for what changes slowly. Nothing is fetched from the City while you look, so a page is only as current as its sources below.
Nobody’s name is kept. Not owners, tenants, complainants, landlords’ agents or anyone in a police report: the importer asks the City only for the fields it needs, and names aren’t among them. Ownership shows registered companies only.
Rent stabilization is a likelihood, not a fact. Only the state’s Homes and Community Renewal knows an apartment’s status, and a tenant can ask it for the rent history.
The map is drawn on Protomaps with OpenStreetMap data. Not affiliated with the City of New York or the MTA.
